Red Robin

Here's a few tricks my husband and I started using at Red Robin:

You can ask for your burger to be "petite". It just means that it's a smaller bun and a slightly smaller patty. They charge you a dollar less, and it's the perfect size! So you save money, and it helps you control your portion size a little better! (unfortunately they don't offer this for Chicken burgers, because they can only get the chicken in one size)

Like most people, my husband and I used to ask for our "fries out first" so we can snack on them while we wait for our food. We don't anymore, and it probably saves us hundreds of calories!!

Another thing we try to do is to find a burger we both like, and share it (not a petite one of course). I didn't think it would be enough food for us, but it really is!! AND I didn't feel like a stuffed pig when I'm done! (and you can eat for under $10)
